Hold down the Alt key, press the number or letter of the access key, release both keys then press ENTER.
Firefox 3.0 (Windows)
Hold down the Alt and Shift key and press the number or letter of the access key.
Firefox (Mac OS X)
Hold down the Ctrl and Shift key and press the number or letter of the access key.
Google Chrome 1.0 (Windows)
Hold down the Alt and press the number or letter of the access key.

Hold down the Ctrl and press the number or letter of the access key.
